Leader of FDM Addresses Car Rally Propaganda

Recently, a poster has been circulating throughout social media which implies that the island’s newest political party, the Free Democratic Movement, helped organize the drive-by rally which happened two weeks ago and is planned for tomorrow.

TNN’s Trevor Lindsay spoke to the party’s leader, Marc Bean, who stated that the FDM had nothing to do with these protests and that they were organized by a completely separate organization, the Bermuda Freedom Alliance.

“What is circulating right now has been created by the Progressive Labor Party,” he said. “ Anytime that the PLP are nervous about something, whether during election times or not, they release memes in other people’s names . . . and this is them trying to deceive the public once again.”

Mr. Bean fully supports the rally and its organizers and encourages as many people as possible to show their support tomorrow and stand up for “righteousness, freedom and truth.”

“Every inch helps when we are trying to defeat tyranny,” he said. “Tyrannical minds are not to be trusted and certainly not worthy to be in government.”

Mr. Bean warns the public to not be deceived by the government and its propaganda. “ We need to stand up and push back against this wickedness,” he said.
