The City of Hamilton advises motorists, businesses, and the general public of a scheduled one-day road closure (9:30am-4pm) at the Spurling Hill Junction on Thursday, September 26th for the completion of essential roadworks.

The junction will be open as normal for morning rush hour traffic until 9:30am at which point it will be CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC until 4pm with the exception of the eastbound lane (leaving the City) along Cavendish Road which will remain open throughout.

The junction (Spurling Hill/Cavendish Road) will reopen in its entirety to all traffic as normal (all lanes) at 4pm for the afternoon rush hour.

Cavendish car park will remain open throughout.

Diversion signs and barriers will be clearly posted to assist with traffic management, as they were for previous works at this intersection.

The City of Hamilton apologizes for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the public’s cooperation during this important road improvement work.
