Teen Services is looking for young people who are willing to work with us, within their respective age groups, to work on specific set initiatives that we need their input in.
We are putting together programs that are designed by youth for youth. There is not specific academic requirements, only interest and participation in giving their opinions on things that matter to youth, such as environment, career information, current issues or relationship education but are not limited to these topics as we want the topics to be driven by the youth.
However, they will all be age appropriate, hence the break down in age brackets. In addition, they will be trained in innovation, public speaking, entrepreneurship and business etiquette.
We anticipate starting this working group in September. Depending on the age of the young person and if they require community hours, this will account for that. The deadline for expressing interests in this program is August 15, 2022.
