•Tanisha Butler has been promoted to Director of Litigation. Ms. Butler will now be responsible for directing the strategy of all litigation matters within the Firm. She is described as a “mentor” and is noted to have made significant contributions to Chancery Legal Ltd by advising on complex legal matters.
•Aqueelah Simmons has been promoted to Senior Legal Counsel. Ms. Simmons is described as “an invaluable member of the Chancery legal Team, who has demonstrated exceptional legal expertise and a deep commitment to client satisfaction”. She is also responsible for managing the company website and PR communications on behalf of the Firm.
The duo are cousins, who were Called to the Bermuda on 12 November 2021. They share a passion for advocating for legal practice and for obtaining the best result on behalf of their clients. The duo practice in a wide-range of areas including civil and criminal litigation, family/matrimonial law, employment law, mortgage defence, wills and estates, and much more.
