Stabbing investigation begins, an arrest anticipated

Police confirm this evening to TNN News that an investigation has commence into a stabbing incident that took place on Tuesday night at a resident in the St. David’s area, as first reported by TNN News.

TNN News made enquiries to the BPS media relations office, that it is believed a suspect involved in this investigation has close ties to the Bermuda Police Service. A BPS spokesperson responded with a statement.

“The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) can confirm an investigation has commenced into the circumstances surrounding a stabbing incident which occurred around 9:35 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13th, 2023, in the area of Captain Fox’s Lane, St David’s.

Reports are a 36-year-old female sustained a stab wound during an altercation with another female.

The injured party was transported by ambulance to King Edward Hospital, where at last check, she remained on a general ward receiving treatment for a non-life threatening stab wound to the chest.”
