Starting this week Friday the second day of Cup Match the Bermuda Police Service will be conducting sobriety checks.
In several locations in seven parish on the island you will find these check points, except in each ends of the Island, St. George’s in the east end and Sandys in the west end.
These checks will commence on Friday July 23 and conclude on Sunday August 1. It is unknown as to what times these checks will be taking place or the exact locations where members of the BPS will be.
TNN, the BPS and the Road Safety Counsel encourages the motoring public to be responsible, if your going to drink don’t drive, plan to have a designated driver or call a taxi.
