We Oppose Mandatory Quarantine at a Government-Supervised Facility

The Bermuda Freedom Alliance would like to take this opportunity to thank all members of the media for their coverage and support during the promotion of our initiatives and look forward to keeping everyone up to date with the growth and success of our endeavours.

On Sunday, May 23rd, a group of professional healthcare providers, along with concerned citizens of Bermuda, gathered both in-studio and via call-in to discuss,
on VIBE 103, issues surrounding the upcoming mandate of ‘Mandatory Quarantine
at Government Supervised Facilities’. It is our intent [as a freedom movement] to enlighten our communities of the implications of these regulations, along with how they will impact our lives going forward.

During this broadcast, Mr. Eugene Dean, Mrs. Arlene Brewster, Dr. Armani Flood, and Dr. Kuni Frith held discussions with the listening audience on the possible psychological effects that come along with a request of this sort, provided suggestions on alternate measures that could be considered to monitor and control the spread of COVID-19, and helped to clarify a number of ambiguous practices implemented by the current Government.

Coverage of this broadcast will be placed on Bermuda Freedom Alliance’s Youtube and Facebook platforms for your review. Should you have any questions or wish to set up an interview, please feel free to follow the listed email. We will be sure to get back to you.

On a side note: There are individuals on social media who are attempting to soil the efforts and overall purpose of our group by politicizing the matter. Posts alleging that Mr. Eugene Dean is lending his presence on behalf of the Free Democratic Movement (FDM) have been created. We wish to make it very clear to everyone that this is not the case. Contrary to the language used in the posts, Mr. Dean, like us, is a freedom advocate who shares the same concerns that we do. For this reason, we welcome his support.
