Child and Family Services Goes Blue for Child Abuse Prevention Month

“Today we came together in blue to send a powerful message: there’s no excuse for child abuse, and protecting our children is a top priority in 2024 and beyond.” said the Hon. Tinee Furbert, JP, MP, Minister of Youth, Social Development and Seniors.

“The “Go Blue for Child Abuse Prevention” campaign is a powerful symbol of our shared dedication to child protection and advocacy.”

“The campaign emphasizes that more than just a colour, wearing blue signifies a collective commitment to nurturing safe and supportive environments for children to thrive. Protecting our children is everyone’s responsibility, and together, we can make a meaningful difference.”

Minister Furbert concluded, “Together, we can build a safer, brighter future for every child in our community. For more information or to report suspected child abuse, please call our kids line at 278-9111.”
