Water park at NSC offers wet and wild experience for all ages

Bermuda has a new, wet and wild, fun-filled water attraction for all ages now operating at the National Sports Centre (NSC) North Field.

Owner/operator Nadia Famous is responsible for the new water park, which started operating earlier this month and features a combination of fun castles and slides that each empty into large pools of water.

“The response has been great,” said Famous. “We are very grateful to everyone who has been contacting us and booking us for events.

“It’s beautiful to have kids coming out, while parents have complimented us for a wonderful idea and activity to be enjoyed without any sand.
“It’s clean and has just been a wonderful response for us.”

The park has been open since July 3 and is set to continue operations through August 12, with the park open daily from 10 am until 6 pm.

Right now we have s short-term contract with the National Sports Centre and if we’re able to extend the time period we’ll let the public know via our Instagram and Facebook pages ‘Famous Fantastic Fun’ and be able to update the hours, which we would hope to be able to extend as well.

Famous insisted that the park is not only for children, but also adults looking to make splashes of their own.

“Anyone can come to the pool,” said Famous. “That’s one of our biggest questions asked.

“Adults want to have adult time and last week we had some in the pool with their grandchildren and it was just beautiful to see them just relaxing and having fun goiong down the slide as well with the kids.

“Next year we’re hopeful of being able tio get a deeper pool that’s enjoyable for everyone, but anyone of any age can come to the pool.”

Additionally, interested parties can book time at the park for special events.
