Premier Conducts Site Visit of Brookfield Plac

Earlier this week (Apr. 29), Premier David Burt conducted a site visit of the Brookfield Place development with members of the company’s leadership team – Brian Kingston, CEO, Real Estate; Charlie Howe, Vice President Investments, Real Estate; and Shai Zelering, Managing Partner, Real Estate.

With the demolition of the site nearing conclusion, construction on the project is expected to start shortly and will generate around 200 jobs during the two-year construction phase.

Once completed the 91 Front Street location will see a Class A commercial office building with supporting ground floor retail space.

It will also house the global headquarters for Brookfield Reinsurance and each of Brookfield’s Bermuda-domiciled listed affiliates: Brookfield Property Partners, Brookfield Infrastructure Partners, Brookfield Renewable Partners and Brookfield Business Partners.

Premier Burt was joined by the Minister of Transport, Wayne Furbert for the brief site tour.
