Around 5:10 p.m. on Thursday, August 24th, 2023, police received a report that a 55-year-old male had been struck by a grey coloured Chevrolet motorcar inside the parking area of the Ducking Stool Park, North Shore Road, Pembroke.
The motorcar driver did not stop, proceeded east along North Shore Road and made good their escape.
The victim was attended to at the scene by EMTs, before being taken by ambulance to King Edward Hospital for treatment to his injuries, which were not considered life-threatening.
