It’s very disappointing to see that yet another valuable member of the Bermuda Tourism Authority has tendered their resignation.
Ms Clark has been unwavering in her commitment to raise the profile of our island home and has garnered results—the loss for the BTA is a a loss for the Bermuda tourism product.
The question has been asked multiple times, and I will ask once again: What is happening at the BTA that the public deserves to know? We can no longer deny that something is amiss.
For a Government that prides itself on combating work place bullying and fostering healthy work environments, how can this be allowed to stand without a thorough investigation into the work place culture of the BTA?
How many more staff have to resign in order for the Tourism Minister to take his head out of the sand? And what about the chairman of the Board? The silence must end…Bermuda needs answers. Our flagship tourism organisation seems to be holding on by a thread.
Change is needed…the question is who is bold enough to make it happen.
