Western Parish Residents Urged Search Properties for Missing Senior

This morning, a family is gripped with deep concern as over 72 hours have passed since Ms. Janice Niklaus, a beloved mother, wife, friend, and senior citizen, went missing.

The search for her continues, and the family is humbly asking everyone to remain vigilant and to help in any way they can. They urge the community to look in abandoned buildings, sheds, trees, and along the water’s edge for any signs of Ms. Janice Niklaus, who is 70 years old.

The family is profoundly grateful for Bermuda’s ongoing support and assistance during this difficult time and asks everyone to continue their efforts to bring her home safely.

The Ministry of National Security is urging residents in Southampton, Sandys and Warwick parishes to thoroughly check their backyards and surrounding areas for any signs of 70-year-old Janet Niklaus, last seen on Friday, August 30th, walking west on Middle Road in Southampton.

National Security Minister Michael Weeks stated: “We are deeply concerned for Ms Niklaus’s well-being and urge everyone in the community to assist in the search effort.

“Please check your properties and report any information to the Bermuda Police Service immediately on 295-0011”.
