Mistrial For Accused Sexual Abuse Offender

Wolffe Declares Mistrial in Supreme Court After about two weeks of hearing from prosecutors, defense counsel and several witnesses.

Puisne Judge Juan Wolffe discharged the current jury from any further participation in a trial against a man facing several sexual-based offenses dating back almost 30 years. Thus, a mistrial was declared this morning.

Due to the nature of the case, the accused’s name cannot be published by the press for legal reasons. His case will be mentioned again on Tuesday, May 24 to discuss another trial date with an entirely new jury.
