“The Kappa Classic is more than just a tournament; it’s a platform for our youth to shine and develop not only their athletic skills but also their teamwork and leadership qualities,” said Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport, Senator Owen Darrell, JP.
The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport proudly celebrates the conclusion of this year’s Kappa Classic, held at the Flora Duffy Stadium over the weekend.
As Bermuda’s largest youth football tournament, the Kappa Classic brought together numerous young athletes and teams across the Island, showcasing their talents and passion for the sport.
Minister Darrell, who attended the tournament over the weekend, added, “I am incredibly proud of all the participants and grateful for the opportunity to support such an important event alongside Premier David Burt.
“I was grateful to be able to personally witness moments of intense action, teamwork, and the celebration of sport that are central to the Kappa Classic’s mission of fostering youth development through sports.”
The Ministry thanks all organisers, volunteers, and participants for their dedication and looks forward to continued success in future tournaments.
