Man Pleads Guilty To Gun Related Incidents

One Guilty another Not Guilty as Two Men Enter Pleas in the Supreme Court yesterday Morning

25-year-old Daquan Williams pleaded guilty in the Supreme Court this morning to shooting at Isaiah Creighton with a loaded firearm with intent to do him grievous bodily harm, as well as using a firearm to commit an indictable offense. Both offenses occurred back on August 27 of this year.

Puisne Judge Charles-Etta Simmons adjourned Mr. Williams’ case to Monday, January 10 for sentencing.

Jahmiko Hayward, 37, also entered a plead in the Supreme Court yesterday morning. He pleaded not guilty to attempting to murder Nancy Mota.

He also pleaded not guilty to wounding Ms. Mota intending to cause her grievous bodily harm as well as to possessing a bladed article on Club Road, Smith’s, a public place. All of the alleged offenses occurred on March 26 of this year.
