“Around 10am Friday, 8th September 2023, police officers responded to a reported stabbing at Horseshoe Bay beach in Southampton.
Details are limited at this time.
However a local man, understood to be in his 40s, was injured in the incident and transported via ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
At last check he was conscious at the hospital, receiving treatment for stab wounds.
A local male suspect, believed to be in his 50s, was later arrested in connection with the matter.
Inquiries are underway by the Criminal Investigations Department.”
