The Green family continued its support
of local charity HOME, whose focus is to end homelessness in Bermuda, with a donation of
$25,000.
Since 2021, the Green family have donated $100,000 toward assisting in the solution for
ending homelessness. Alexander Green said: “Unfortunately we have all seen a rise in Bermudians living in tough conditions over the last few years.
HOME has already made a huge difference in many people’s lives and begun the process of hopefully ending homelessness in Bermuda.”
Denise Carey, HOME’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are grateful and encouraged by the
Green family’s ongoing support, as we work closely with our public, private, and community
partners towards our vision of a Bermuda in which everyone has a secure and sustainable
place to live.”
The community can become involved by offering employment, lodging, groceries, and
gently-used homeware items to HOME.
The Greens’ donation will specifically support HOME’s programmes, where it is needed
most.
