Come out and be blessed of God! That’s the invitation from Bishop Hezekiah Walker who is here for Gospel Fest, a free gospel concert being held on Monday May 6th at the First Church of God on Church Lane, Pembroke.
Known for hits such as “Every Praise”, “What a mighty God we serve” and “Souled out”, Bishop Walker’s ministry spans more than forty years. He told TNN Bermuda is the best place to start a revival.
“We’re looking for a revival to start next week Monday. Nobody will leave discouraged, nobody will leave with their head hung down.”
Bishop Walker and his team will also be teaching during a conference set to take place next week. Some of his band members as well as members of his choir will be here to as he put it provide edification as they seek to spread the good news of the Father.
And there may well be something special in the works for Bermuda which Bishop Walker says he would like to make his second home.
“Bermuda, I feel and I believe is the next place I want to record. The energy level is here, the people love God the people love music and the friendliness and love I feel here is like no place else.”
