Georgie Frost Interviews Premier Burt for the European Magazine

The Economic Development Department announced, the European Magazine published its recent video interview with the Premier of Bermuda, the Honourable David Burt, JP MP.

The interview was carried out for Chase Publishing’s the European Magazine by veteran reporter Georgie Frost, an award-winning freelance finance broadcaster who has worked for, among others, the Times, Business Reporter, talkRADIO, and BBC.

During the interview, Premier Burt emphasised the fact that Bermuda is a sophisticated, multi-industry international business centre offering world-respected regulation, speed to market, and top talent across industry sectors. He also clarified why Bermuda is the best place to bring innovative risk and insurance, asset management, high-net-worth services, technology, and infrastructure ideas to market. In doing so, he showed how the jurisdiction is attracting foreign direct investment and supporting Bermuda’s international business sector, its plans for the blue economy, and its ocean prosperity work. He also related Bermuda’s work on preserving its natural resources and its goal to become the world’s climate risk finance capital.

If the interview carried one message, it was that thanks to its specialisation in collaborative innovation, regulatory excellence, and speed to market, Bermuda is the best place to domicile new international business, innovative tech companies and modern infrastructure projects.

The video interview can be found on the European Magazine’s website here.
