Fun Drive-Through Winter Wonderland Planned for Friday Evening

As the Christmas spirit increases on the island day by day, Thyme restaurant is organizing a drive-through winter wonderland for all ages on Friday December 3.

According to a spokesperson, the wonderland will begin at 6 p.m. until the last car leaves. It will start at the Elbow Beach hotel entrance.

“ An unlimited amount of tickets are available, but they will only be sold until Thursday morning,” the spokesperson said. “ Only children need to have tickets (it is free for parents), they are $10 each and all of the proceeds raised will go towards the Family Center.”

If they wish, people can also bring an unwrapped gift and place it under Santa’s porch. These gifts will go towards Bermudian foster children and their families.

Beyond Common and 24/7 Inc are just a few up the vendors who will be greeting and offering all sorts of treats and goodies (cookies, candies, rice krispie treats, etc.) to guests who drive through. Due to COVID-19 protocols, everyone must stay in their respective vehicles and cannot come out.

“ This event is for people of all ages, because we all like treats, no matter how old we are,” the spokesperson added.
