Female pedestrian discharged from hospital with leg injuries after bus collision

The BPS can confirm that the pedestrian hurt in the road traffic collision involving a PTB bus, yesterday, Monday, October 30, has been discharged from the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital after receiving treatment for her injuries.

The incident occurred around 10:35 A.M. when the Public Transport Bus made a right turn off of Front Street and entered Bermudiana Road.

The pedestrian, a female visitor to the island suffered a leg injury in the collision.

This incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is sked to call the main police number 295-0011 or the non-emergency number, 211.
