BPS UPDATE: The emergency 911 and non-emergency 211 telephone numbers, as well as the main Bermuda Police Service (BPS) telephone number 295-0011, are operational again. We thank our community for their patience, while restoration work was carried out.
The Bermuda Police Service has alerted the public to ongoing technical difficulties with its telephone system.
In a statement released today, officials acknowledged the issues and assured the community that efforts are underway to restore full functionality.
Residents are urged to remain patient and to utilize alternative contact methods for emergency and non-emergency communication during this period.
911, 211 and the main Bermuda Police Service (BPS) telephone number 295-0011 are not working at this time.
Until further notice, if you need police assistance, please call 295-0012, 295-0064, 292-7403 or 292-1707.
515-1745, 515-1622, 515-1623 & 515-1624 can also be used.
For Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service and/or ambulance, please call 292-5556.
We appreciate the public’s cooperation and will provide an update as soon as the regular BPS telephone numbers are operational again.
