Dame Marjorie Bean Hope Academy’s 2nd Annual ‘Hat Day’ Fundraiser

“It’s time to grab your favorite hat or cap and get ready because, on Wednesday, May 24th, we are hosting the 2nd Annual Dame Marjorie Bean Hope Academy ‘Hat Day’ Fundraiser,” said the Principal of Dame Marjorie Bean Hope Academy, Ms. Margaret Phillips.

“After a successful ‘Hat Day’ in 2022, we decided this creative fundraiser will become an annual event.”

“On Wednesday, May 24th, we ask all schools and the general public to support our ‘Hat Day’ by wearing your favorite hat or cap or creating your own. The donation is $2 for students and $5 for adults, with all proceeds going to the Friends of Hope Academy Charity #722.”

 

“To register yourself or a group, please contact Julie Lynn at jperry@moed.bm Online donations can be made to HSBC 010-13700-001, and please reference ‘Hat Day’ in your transfer.”

 

Principal Phillips concluded, “Bermuda, let’s come together to support our students who present with moderate to profound multiple learning disabilities and complex care needs.”

“At Hope Academy, we pride ourselves in reflecting a culture of practice firmly grounded in the belief that all of our students can, do, and will continue to learn with targeted interventions and supports.”
