Two Taken to Hospital After 3 Vehicle Causeway Collision

Around 11am Tuesday, 15th July 2025, a reported three vehicle collision occurred on the Causeway, at the east end of the island.

Police, Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service, as well as ambulance personnel responded.

Apparently the collision involved a water truck and two cars.

The driver and passenger of one of the cars, understood to be a 56-year-old Hamilton parish woman and an 81-year-old Hamilton parish woman respectively, were hurt.

Both women were transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of injuries that at last check, were described as non-life threatening.

At this time, it is unconfirmed whether or not the occupant(s) of the water truck, or the other car involved, sustained any injuries.

Traffic in the area was disrupted for approximately two and a half hours while the scene was processed and the Bermuda Police Service (BPS) thanks those motorists that were delayed, for their patience and understanding.

Inquiries continue regarding the circumstances of this collision and any witnesses are once again encouraged to call 211, or submit information through the BPS community reporting portal https://portal.police.bm, at the earliest opportunity.
