The Bermuda Nurses Association announced the recipients of the 2021 Iris Davis Educational Scholarship Award this afternoon.
The award, named after a trailblazing Bermudian nurse, is presented each year to Bermudian undergraduate students pursuing a Nursing Degree and Registered Nurses seeking to further their nursing education.
“ The Bermuda Nurses Association believes in the power of education and training to achieve high standards as a professional nurse,” an association spokesperson wrote in a statement. “Globally, there is a need for more nurses to provide care and achieve health and wellness for everyone.”
This year’s scholarship award recipients are Tamara Symonds, Luz Soto-Lambert, Regina Dill, Olieva Martins and Theresa Santucci.
The BNA thanked the Chubb Charitable Foundation for helping make these scholarships possible and would like to congratulate each recipient and commend them for their dedication and perseverance.
