Inaugural Flight Opens Year-Round Access to Florida Six Days a Week
BermudAir is very pleased to share that all the routes in its network are now live.
BermudAir’s inaugural flight to Fort Lauderdale took off on Friday afternoon. Service between Bermuda and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport will operate six times a week.
The inaugural flight was welcomed with the traditional water cannon salute at Fort Lauderdale- Hollywood International Airport. The flight departs from Bermuda at 3.50pm and returns at 10.20pm. This adds to the daily flights to Boston and Westchester that BermudAir launched at the beginning of September.
In addition to providing a direct flight to Fort Lauderdale, the service provides additional access to Miami, Orlando and surrounding areas.
“We’re excited to celebrate another significant milestone in BermudAir’s journey,” said Founder and CEO Adam Scott. “I want to take this time to recognise and thank our entire team for making this huge achievement possible. It’s taken an incredible amount of work, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve done together.”
“I also want to thank everyone who has already travelled with BermudAir for choosing us, and for the warmth and support we’ve received from the community. We’re able to offer year-round service on all three of our routes now, and we’re very happy to be serving Bermuda.”
