Bermuda Red Cross Offers Educational Outreach Program

Bermuda Red Cross is delighted to announce it will provide education and community outreach on climate change resilience. This will utilize The Bermuda Red Cross’ established networks within the community over the past ten years, as a consequence of its Disaster Risk Reduction program.

It will further leverage information stemming from the Climate Change Impacts Report recently announced by BIOS, and related activities. Red Cross is supported in this important venture on climate change and disaster risk reduction by QBE Insurance Group’s operations in Bermuda.

It is anticipated that a number of virtual presentations and other outreach activities will be needed to educate the community at large of the scope of the climate change and its specific impacts on Bermuda. We are in discussion with BIOS and other interested parties towards more collaboration on this outreach.

Bermuda Red Cross looks forward to participating in this Climate Change Outreach project, and wishes to thank QBE Insurance Group’s for their tremendous support and involvement.
