Bermuda Gombey Council Honoured at Community Groups MLK Day Celebration

Representatives from the Bermuda Gombey Council were today present at the Anglican Cathedral for Citizens Uprooting Racism in Bermuda [CURB], Imagine Bermuda, and Social Justice Bermuda’s collaborative celebration of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King.
 They were presented with a thank you for their responsiveness and swift reconciliation to recent tensions, and commitment to unity within the Gombey culture.
Representatives of the Gombey Council in attendance were  Irwin Trott, Jairzinho Cooper, Dennis Parsons, Zane Hendrickson, Earshun DeShields, & Bilal Binns. Also present was Glenn Fubler of Imagine Bermuda and the Minister of Youth, Culture and Sport, Senator Owen K. Darrell.
