Bad Weather Wreak Havoc on Flights at LF Wade International Airport

Word coming to TNN tonight about the thunderstorm and lighting that has been in the general area of Bermuda which caused havoc at the LF Wade International Airport.

We’ve received many calls from passengers onboard the British Airlines flight indicating the plane has been sitting at the gate for the last two hours after arriving in Bermuda at 6:30 pm this evening.

Many passengers on board the flight are concerned with the of a lack of communication at present. We understand there are three flights sitting at gates at the  International Airport presently. United, American, and a Jetblue Airlines are at gates waiting for instruction.

British Airways flight waiting to get to the gate to allow  passengers on board to disembark, and pick up passengers that are due to fly out England tonight. TNN News has made several attempts to get a comment from the skyport or Airport authority on this matter.

Latest update has indicated the BA Flight has arrived at the gate with passengers allow to them to depart plane.

We’ve just received word that there has been yet another delay with baggage coming off the flight.
