The second round of the 2024 Butterfield Bermuda Championship has been suspended for darkness at 5:20 p.m. and will resume at 7:00 a.m. Saturday morning. The opening round was finished this morning at Port Royal Golf Course, Southampton. The second round began at 7:00 a.m. as scheduled.
The field of 120 players are playing for a $6.9 million purse and the champion will receive $1.252 million and 500 FedExCup points.
Cut Line
The cut line is currently projected to be -1, 140.
Leader in the Clubhouse
Justin Lower is the leader at -12, 130, shooting back-to-back rounds of 65. Lower posted seven birdies for the day against a lone bogey.
Tied for second place at -10, 132 are Ryan Moore and Robby Shelton. Moore carded eight birdies and two bogeys while Shelton posted five birdies and an eagle.
Tied in fourth place at -9, 133 are Sam Ryder and Kevin Kisner. Ryder missed tying the course and tournament record by one shot with a second round -9, 62. The record 61 is shared by Taylor Pendrith (2021) and Alex Noren (2023).
Support Local
Completing the first round this morning, Camiko Smith, -2, 69, tied the low round for a Bermudian, becoming the second to break 70 in a tournament round. Jarryd Dillas carded a 69 in the first round of 2022. Smith finished at +1, 69-74=143.
Fellow Bermudians Eric West and Nick Jones also competed in the field this week. West ended at +3, 72-73=145 while Jones finished +5, 72-75=147.
Former Champs in the Field
All three champions in the field are at -2 after their second rounds. Inaugural Champion Brendon Todd is at -2, 73-67=140 while 2022 Champion Seamus Power and Defending Champion Camilo Villegasboth posted identical rounds of -2, 72-68=140.
A Bird in Hand
Nick Hardy recorded the first albatross in tournament history, carding a double-eagle 2 on the par 5 Hole #17.

Stay Hydrated
Attendees are allowed to bring any empty refillable personal water container with them to the course. Water stations are positioned throughout the golf course. In addition, concession stands will also serve drinks in a reusable cup rather than single-use plastic cups.
Dress Code
It is suggested that guests dress comfortably for the conditions and the weather. Denim and t-shirts are strongly discouraged.

- The Goslings Club presented by Mastercard tickets allowsaccess into the Goslings Club just off the 10th cart path with prime views of the 13th green, and the tournament grounds. Complimentary dark n stormy and lunch is included with each ticket purchase.
- The Overlook presented by EY is ideally situated between the 9th and 18th green, this open-air shared venue offers abundant views of golf and reserved seating.
- Digicel Business Ocean Club tickets allows access into The Digicel Business Ocean Club and the tournament grounds. Private restrooms and all-inclusive food and beverage service.
- General Admission Tickets – provide access to the tournamentgrounds. Each ticket is day specific. All spectators will require a ticket for entry, youth fifteen (15) and under may enter on an accompanying adult ticket. Fans will have access to new public seating area on 18thgreen and the Family Zone presented by Butterfield & Mastercard, located between the 16th and 17th holes. Concession stands will be available on holes 14/18 and 16/17.
Parking
Valet Parking – Passes provide access to the Port Royal Golf Course.Each parking pass is designated by day and may only be used on thedate specified on the parking pass. Please put the Lot V parking passon your dashboard for ease of access through the security checkpointat the main entrance of Port Royal Golf Course. From Lot V, guest’svehicles will be valeted to an offsite lot. When ready to leave thecourse, return to Port Royal Golf Course parking lot and your vehicle will be returned. Bikes may also be valeted, please display your valet parking pass in a visible location for ease of entry at middle road.
General Parking by Car or Electric Vehicle – Free parking isavailable at the White Hill Field lot located off of Middle Road.Guests will then board the complimentary shuttle which will runcontinuously to and from Port Royal Golf Course.
General Parking by Bike – Free parking is available at Death ValleyField. Guests will then walk directly into the tournament mainentrance off the Port Royal Golf Course hole 2.
