A 63 year old man Devonshire man appeared in Magistrates Court yesterday morning charged with sexual offences.
1. On a date unknown between the 28th December 2013 and and the the 27th December 2014, in the islands of Bermuda had unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl under the age of fourteen years.
2. On the 22n March 2022, in the islands of Bermuda, intruded upon the privacy of a person.
The Devonshire man was not required to enter a plea as the charges were laid indictably.
Senior Magistrate the Worshipful Maxanne Anderson granted bail in the amount of 15.000 dollars with a like surety. The accused was ordered not to have any contact with complainant, and to report to Hamilton Police station every Wednesday between the hours of 8am – 8pm.
The man will next appear in the Supreme Court during the November 1st, monthly arraignment session.
