The World Council of Spiritual Diplomacy and the Spiritual Diplomacy Trust Bermuda wish to join the public grief of Ottiwell Simons passing. He was our former Director of Spiritual Diplomacy Trust Bermuda and member of the World Council of Spiritual Diplomacy election observer team certifying elections in Easter Europe and establishing world peace activities between East and West.
Even this year of 2023 Mr. Simmons was investigating ways to have the war parties in the Ukrainian war come to Bermuda for a peace and mediation meeting in Bermuda.
Mr. Simmons visited Moscow in Russia and had meeting with the Mayor in 2011 to evaluate the democratic changes that were beginning in the former Soviet Union. Ottie visited the disabled Afgan war veterans and the workshop where they made their own artificial limbs from wood.
In 2010 Mr. Simmons was an official certified independent observer in 2010 Belarus Presidential elections where he spoke with President Lukashenko bringing goodwill message from the workers and labour movement in Bermuda.

Mr. Simmons while in Kyiv the Capital of Ukraine was invited to attend the Parliamentary Committee investigating Corruption and particapated in the anti corruption legislation in Ukraine and spoke to the local press about the importance of labour and Unions in a new Ukraine After Mr. Simmons returned to Bermuda he was planing to return to Russia with Mr. Arthur Hodgson Dr. Rev. Bazalev the President of Spiritual Diplomacy and Mr. Markham Chairman of Spiritual Diplomacy Trust for a tour and train trip on the Siberian Express across Russia to its east coast.
The staff of Spiritual Diplomacy and the World Council of Spiritual of Diplomacy along of the many people and friends who spent time with Ottie in Eastern Europe join in the condoliences to his family and collogues and wish them Peace and Love rememberance to our friend Ottiwell Simmons who was a fellow beliver in Jesus.
