Williams Pleads Not Guilty to Attempted Murder

32-year-old Pelealkhai Williams appeared in Supreme Court monthly arraignment on Tuesday June 1.

He has five separate charges against him: the attempted murder of Jakai Hartford, wounding Jakai Hartford with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, the usage of a firearm to commit an indictable offense, the possession of a firearm for the same purpose, and the possession of firearm ammunition. All charges are dated December 12, 2020.

Mr. Williams pleaded not guilty to all charges. Puisne Judge Charles-Etta Simmons adjourned the case until Tuesday, July 13 at 11 a.m.
