William Blakey – AMockery of Bermuda’s Justice System

William Blakey—yes, the same man who allegedly disappeared with $800,000 of taxpayer money meant to build a recording studio in Bermuda—is now publishing a memoir and preparing for a documentary.

While the Bermuda Police say they can’t find him, Blakey is publicly promoting his book, Invictus: Dark Faith, where he talks about family, faith, resilience, and redemption. The irony? He’s profiting off his “struggles” while Bermudians struggle to understand how this man has never faced justice.

How can someone be this visible—writing books, giving interviews, collaborating on documentaries—and yet still avoid being extradited or held accountable?

This isn’t just about one man. This is about how Bermuda, its government, and its people were exposed to fraud at the highest level. An entire nation trusted a promise, and now we’re watching the alleged perpetrator promote his personal brand while justice sits idle.

The police must act. The government must explain. And William Blakey must be found and returned to Bermuda to face the law.

If this is allowed to go unanswered, it sends a chilling message: that public money can be taken, faith can be used as cover, and accountability can be optional.
