With only one week to go until the City of Hamilton’s biggest Christmas event of the season, the City is reminding residents that all that’s needed for entry to Fresh Air Films: Drive-In Pajama Jam, is a receipt valued at $35.00 or higher from a City retailer or boutique.
Fresh Air Films: Drive-In Pajama Jam will take place under the stars, on the top level of Bull’s Head Car Park, December 10th – 12th and has been organized in partnership with title sponsor HSBC Bermuda. Each night, guests will enjoy a drive-through photobooth, live activities, prize giveaways and a double header of holiday films, all from the comfort of their vehicles. Guests will receive complimentary Santa Hats and popcorn upon entry.
Friday, December 10th will feature Home Alone 2 at 7:00pm followed by Love Actually at 9:30pm. Saturday, December 11th will feature The Grinch at 7:00pm, followed by Four Christmases at 9:30pm and Sunday, December 12th, will feature Elf at 3:00pm with This Christmas screening at 5:30pm. Gates will open one hour before the first screening on each night.
Food and beverage vendors will be on-site with items available for purchase. The City is excited to announce its confirmed event vendors – Ashley’s Lemonade, Dandy Donuts, Specialty Cinema and Four Star.
The City’s Senior Events and Marketing Coordinator Tamara Bradshaw said, “We are encouraging residents to come and join us for a holiday event that is guaranteed to get you in the festive mood! Bring a friend, your coworkers, your family or make it a cozy Christmas date night; with the wide array of Christmas movies we have lined up, there is something for all tastes and ages.”
Those wanting to show off their favorite comfy holiday sleepwear are encouraged to wear pajamas, get comfortable, and take in the merriment of the festive season as they enjoy some holiday classics.
“HSBC is extremely excited to be a part of this event again this year,” said Tanya Bule, Head of Wealth and Personal Banking & Marketing. “We hope the community will come out and enjoy what is going to be an incredibly fun weekend. Not only will it provide an enjoyable way for all of us to celebrate the holidays, but it also will give much needed support to Hamilton’s retailers and other establishments after a tough couple of years.”
The City of Hamilton has received a large-group exemption from the Government to hold the drive-in event.
Members of the public wishing to attend are advised to come early to avoid disappointment.
