Wayne Wonder Ignites Snorkel Park for Night of Music and Fireworks

More than 3,000 music fans packed Snorkel Park on Saturday night as Jamaican reggae superstar Wayne Wonder delivered an electrifying performance that capped off an unforgettable evening of entertainment, fireworks and celebration.

The highly anticipated concert, which had been postponed from Wednesday due to several days of heavy rain and unstable weather that affected Bermuda, proved well worth the wait. Organizers were delighted with the strong turnout as patrons from across the island gathered to enjoy one of the biggest reggae events of the summer.

The main event opened with a spectacular fireworks display that lit up the night sky, setting the stage for an energetic lineup of local entertainers before Wayne Wonder took to the stage. Once the Grammy Award-winning reggae star appeared, the excitement reached another level as he performed many of his well-known hits during a set that lasted approximately an hour and a half.

TNN News observed an electric atmosphere throughout the venue, with fans singing along, dancing and enjoying the vibrant entertainment. The energy inside Snorkel Park remained high from start to finish as concertgoers celebrated in a safe and festive environment.

Also featured during the event was legendary Jamaican sound system Stone Love, which has entertained audiences for 54 years. Members of Stone Love, along with Wayne Wonder, thanked Bermuda for its warm welcome and continued support. Wayne Wonder, who has performed in Bermuda on several occasions over the years, expressed his appreciation for the island and its enthusiastic fans.

During the evening, Epic Entertainment presented commemorative plaques to Wayne Wonder and Geefus of Stone Love in recognition of their outstanding contributions and more than five decades of dedication to the music industry.

Despite the earlier weather-related postponement, organizers described the concert as a tremendous success. Most importantly, the event concluded without incident, providing thousands of attendees with a memorable night of reggae music, spectacular fireworks and positive entertainment.
