A 28-year-old Warwick man has denied six drug-related charges after appearing before Maria Sofianos in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Trey Simons pleaded not guilty to charges alleging that on June 20, 2025, he imported MDMA and pink cocaine into Bermuda and conspired to import the controlled drugs into the island.
He also denied charges of possessing MDMA, commonly known as Molly, and pink cocaine, as well as possessing both drugs with intent to supply. In addition, Simons pleaded not guilty to possessing MDMA, pink cocaine and cannabis resin in St. George’s.
The court heard that the alleged street value of the drugs was approximately $9,000 for the MDMA, $44,000 for the pink cocaine, and $246,000 for the cannabis resin.
Simons elected to have the matter heard in Magistrates’ Court.
He was granted $10,000 bail with conditions that he report to Hamilton Police Station every Tuesday and Thursday between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m., surrender all travel documents, and refrain from leaving the jurisdiction without the court’s permission.
The matter was adjourned until August 10, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. for its next appearance in Magistrates’ Court.
