A 43-year-old Warwick man appeared in Magistrates Court today, facing serious charges of attempted murder and using a firearm in connection with the alleged crime.
John Stephen Glasgow a resident of Warwick, was not required to enter a plea as the charges are indictable and will be heard in the Supreme Court.
The court heard that the incident in question involved the alleged discharge of a firearm, though further details were not disclosed during the brief hearing.
Given the severity of the charges, Glasgow was remanded in custody by Magistrate Maria Sofianos. He is scheduled to reappear for the Supreme Court monthly arraignment session in March.
As the investigation continues, authorities have urged anyone with information related to the case to come forward. Legal proceedings remain ongoing, and Glasgow is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
