Walker found Guilty of Causing Death by Careless Driving

Late this afternoon in Supreme Court, after about four hours of deliberation, nine out of twelve members of a
six-man, six-woman jury found Terrance Walker guilty of causing the death of 19-year-old Jen-Naya Simmons on North Shore Road during the early morning hours of July 15, 2018.

Prior to his conviction, Mr. Walker was out on bail. Puisne Judge Juan Wolffe ordered that a Social Inquiry Report be conducted for Mr. Walker, ordered that his bail be extended until his sentencing on Thursday, September 1 and ordered that he report to Hamilton Police Station
every Monday and Friday.

Mr. Walker is already required to surrender all travel documents as part of his bail conditions.
