Village beat Cougars to seize Dudley Eve Trophy

North Village 1 Devonshire Cougars 0.

North Village Rams won the Dudley Eve trophy final, with a 1-0 win over Devonshire Cougars at Somerset Cricket Club. A goal from Kyler Knights in the 33rd minute to be the deciding factor in the match.

Cougars, despite the advantage in possession and going all out in trying to claim a second half equaliser, could not penetrate the Village defence.
In the end Rams another shiny piece of silverware to a collection already including the Charity Cup.

Meanwhile, the evening’s first game saw Warwick Football Academy defeat PHC 2-1 in the Leonard Deroza Holder U-15 Knock Out final.

Sami Carolo and D’hari Coddington notched goals for the winners, while Harlem Bean Fox replied for PHC.
