The Bermuda Police Service is investigating the sudden death of a female following reports that she was found unresponsive in waters at Southlands beach around 4:45 pm on Friday 24th March, 2023.
She was transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where sadly, she was pronounced dead by doctors a short time later.
Foul play is not suspected at this time.
No further information will be provided until all next of kin have been informed.
