Unresponsive Male Body Discovered In Dockyard

Shortly before 11pm on Monday 22nd August, police and other first responders attended a report of an unresponsive male being found in the vicinity of the Victualing Yard in Dockyard.

On arrival, EMT’s attended to a 40 year-old male, however it was determined that there were no signs of life present and death was certified at the scene by an attending physician.

An investigation surrounding the circumstances of the man’s death has commenced. No further information will be given until the next of kin has been notified.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have been in the Dockyard area and noticed anything unusual between 6pm and 11pm, to contact Inspector Clifford Roberts on 717-0590 or 211.
