The Bermuda Football Association (BFA) is thrilled to announce that its Under-12 National Team is embarking on a historic journey to compete in the prestigious Norwich City Mina Cup UK. The team departed, October 9th , 2024.
This marks a significant milestone for the BFA’s youth development programme, showcasing the
exceptional talent emerging from the island.
The squad, led by Coach Vashun Blanchette, comprises the following players:

• Christian Phillips Steede (FC Bascome)
• Cree Bean (North Village Community Club)

• Mackay Browne (FC Bascome)
• Psalm Caines (Pembroke Hamilton Club)
• Roman Gaglio (Vasco da Gama)
• Shiloh Stevens (FC Bascome)
• Xonti Burch (FC Bascome)
BFA Technical Development Director, Maurice Lowe expressed his excitement about this
opportunity, stating, “This is a first for us, and it speaks well not only about our National
Programme but also about the talent being produced domestically. Our young players have the potential to achieve great things, and this tournament will provide them with invaluable experience and exposure.”
The Norwich City Mina Cup UK is a renowned global tournament for U12 teams, held at the Lotus training centre in Norwich.
The competition features 16 elite teams from around the world, battling it out for the coveted title and a chance to qualify for the Mina Cup Dubai 2025.
The tournament will take place over two days, October 12-13, 2024, with each team guaranteed
eight games. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Gold Cup, while the bottom
two will compete in the Silver Cup. The tournament will culminate in semifinal and final rounds, with the champions earning the prestigious Norwich City Mina Cup UK trophy.
Bermuda’s Under-12 team was drawn in Group 1 with Arsenal, Feyenoord, and Right to Dream.

• Feyenoord v Bermuda: 10:30 AM
• Arsenal v Bermuda: 11:39 AM
• Bermuda v Right To Dream: 12:02 PM
As the Bermuda Under-12 team prepares to take on this international challenge, the BFA
