Two year prison sentence for security service female thief

A 44 year old woman was sentenced to two years in prison after appearing in Magistrate Court on Friday February 16, as she plead guilty to stealing close to $55,000 thousand dollars in cash deposits bags from Guardsman Security Service as she worked for the security service.

Luchia Swan of Harmony Club, South Road, Paget was sentenced to two years in prison, and three years of probation which starts when Swan is released from prison by Magistrate Maria Sofianos.

Swan stole $15,519.00, in cash belonging to Rubis Gas Station, $12,520.58, belonging to PriceRight, $12,531.41, belonging to Travel Edge, $3,280.00, belonging to the Government of Bermuda, also in a second incident Swan stole another $10,800.00, belonging to the Government of Bermuda.

All offenses believe to have happened between September and November of 2022.

Luchia Swan apologized to the courts and her past co-worker of Guardsman security service for her actions, she also stated, what she done has completely destroyed her life and the possibility of getting another job when released from prison.
