Around 4pm Wednesday, 14th September 2022, a serious two vehicle collision was reported in the Middle Road, Orange Valley Road Devonshire area, in the vicinity of Devonshire Post Office.
Details are limited at this time. However, initial information indicates that the crash involved a SUV and a motorcycle.
The male motorcycle rider has been taken to hospital via ambulance for treatment. The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time. Apparently the female driver of the SUV was unhurt.
Currently traffic headed west on Middle Road is being diverted along Tee Street, while traffic headed east on Middle Road is encouraged to take alternative routes until further notice.
Motorists are advised to expect delays in the area while the scene is processed.
