Police are investigating two serious road traffic collisions that occurred in Paget during the early hours of Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
The first incident took place at approximately 12:20 a.m. on Middle Road, near the junction with St. Paul’s Lane.
Initial information suggests that a motorcycle and a car were traveling in opposite directions when a collision occurred.
The male motorcycle rider was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Sadly, he has since succumbed to those injuries.
The male driver of the car has been arrested for offenses in connection with the collision.
While officers were managing that scene, at around 2:35 a.m., members of the public stopped to alert police to another collision at the junction of South Road and Lovers Lane, also in Paget.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive female lying in the westbound lane. She was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Initial reports indicate this was a single-vehicle collision involving a rental cycle.
