Two men top the leaderboard at Butterfield Bermuda Championship

The second and third rounds of the 2025 Butterfield Bermuda Championship were completed today at Port Royal Golf Course, Southampton.

Round two resumed at 7:20 a.m. Saturday morning. It was suspended due to darkness at 5:27 p.m. Friday night with 6 players left on the course. The third round began at 8:20 a.m. after 70 players made the cut at even par.

Sunday is the Final Round Fueled by Rubis. Gates open to the public at 6:45 a.m. and the first tee time will be at 7:15 a.m.

Leaders in the Clubhouse

Adam Schenk and Braden Thornberry are tied for the lead at -12, 201. Schenk posted a third round 67, parring the front nine and scoring four birdies on the back. Thornberry carded a 69, with three birdies and three bogeys before an eagle on #17.

There is a four-way tie for second place. Takumi Kanaya, Adam Hadwin, Chandler Phillips and Max McGreevy are all one stroke back at -11, 202.

Two strokes back of the lead, at -10, 203, is Rikuya Hoshino.

It’s Not Over Until It’s Over

The leader after round three has gone on to win the Butterfield Bermuda Championship just twice in the previous six tournaments. Seamus Power(2022) and Rafael Campos (2024) were both co-leaders entering the final round.

 

Former Champs in the Field

Three former champions are competing this week. 2022 Champion Seamus Power is at -9, 69-68-67=204, and 2023 Champion Camilo Villegas finished at -4, 71-70-68=209. Defending Champion Rafael Campos finished at +1, 76-67=143 and missed the cut.

*       Ocean Club Presented by Mastercard tickets allows access into the Ocean Club overlooking #16 and the tournament grounds. Private restrooms and all-inclusive food and beverage service.

*       The Goslings Club tickets allows accessinto the Goslings Club just off the 10th cart path with prime views of the 13th green, and thetournament grounds. Complimentary dark n stormy and lunch is included with each ticket purchase.

*       General Admission Tickets – provideaccess to the tournament grounds. Each ticket is day specific. All spectators will require a ticket for entry, youth fifteen (15) and under may enter on an accompanying adult ticket. Fans will have access to public seating area on 18th green, the Family Zone presented by Butterfield and Mastercard between the 16th and 17th holes, and the Coca-Cola Fan Oasis between the 14th and 18th holes. Concession stands are available at each location.


Parking
All parking is FREE to spectators.


Public Parking by Car or Electric Vehicle –
Parkat White Hill Field, located off of Middle Road.Guests will then board complimentary shuttlesrunning continuously to and from the main entrance.

Public Parking by Bike – Park at Death ValleyField. Guests will then walk directly into themain spectator entrance just steps away from Hole #2.

Dress Code
It is suggested that guests dress comfortably for the conditions and the weather. Denim and t-shirts are strongly discouraged.

Clear Bag Policy
A clear bag policy is in effect. No backpacks are permitted. A full list of approved and prohibited items is available on the tournament website and in the digital spectator guide.
