19 year old Jahni Darrell of Pembroke, appeared in Magistrates Court to answer a charge of being in a public place namely Kindley Field Road, without good reason or lawful authority, did have in his procession a bladed / sharply article, namely a black handled fixed blade knife with a cutting edge measuring at 6 inches Contrary to Section 315C of the Criminal Code Act 1907.
Darrell plead not guilty to the offense and was bailed to the sum of $1,500 and is due back in court for mention on June 23rd.
Also appearing in Magistrates Court was 21 year old Kenyade McQueen of Pembroke, to answer a charged of, On the 10th day of September 2022, in Pembroke Parish, in a public place namely Union Street, without good reason or lawful authority, had with you a bladed article namely a brown handled Smith & Wesson folding knife with a cutting edge of 3 ‘/2 inches.
Contrary to Section 315C of the Criminal Code.
McQueen plead not guilty to the charge, was bailed and is due back in court for mention on the 26th of June.
