The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advises the motoring public that two major street events will take place during the weekend and public holiday of 14–16 June 2025, requiring temporary road closures and traffic controls in the City of Hamilton and surrounding areas.
Preparations for the J’ouvert A.M. (Jam) Processionwill begin in the early hours of Saturday, 14 June 2025, with road closures and setup activities taking place on Dutton Avenue.
The main event will be held on Monday, 16 June 2025, between 2:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., centred around Bernard Park. A parade procession is scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Streets affected by rolling road closures include Dutton Avenue, Marsh Folly Road, Cedar Avenue, Angle Street and North Street.
